I have an old Wagner skillet that's from the 1920's. I used to think it was
chromium plated....but it turns out that back then they coated some of the things with Nickle.
My skillet is 16 or 18 inches or so and was used by my older family members back then in those times. They would fry hamburgers in it
when the family got together for cook outs. This had originally been
put in the family collection by a great Uncle who owned a Hardware Store
