  • Quality time with the Grand Daughter....

Wife and daughter needed to go shopping so they asked the granddaughter if she wanted to go and she politely said she wanted to stay with Papa. after they left she say papa can we make some cookies? What was I to say, and we made a batch of chocolate chips. I let her make them this time, from start to finish. She turned 5 yesterday and I had to work, her b day party is tomorrow. Here is how she did....

The one cookie missing missappeared as she put it , That's missing and diss appeared all in the same word.

Thanks everyone, she is a Ham when it comes to pic's and has my heart wrapped around her little finger. I can't tell the younger folk enough, to spend quality time with their kids. Mine grew up so fast and I was always busy working and trying to make the mighty dollar. It seems much easier the second time around for some reason. Maybe it's because I make time for them, and have patience. Thanks again

I think this a huge point! When I was younger that is all I did, work 60 hrs. plus a week and when I was not the tech on call I would be racing my mud truck on Sundays..

I sure miss racing my truck but not the 60 hr work weeks in the heat..

Neat story and misappeared is a good one... Lol... I hear ya on the spending time with them. I spend a lot of time being a 49 year old 8 year old. Butt, filling a wheelbarrow up with dirt, filling it with water, mixing it all up (mud) and dumping it on the patio was not my idea FYI....... Lol

Wow, she's precious. What a great smile. I can see why you're wrapped around her little finger. You are definitely right about having more patience the second time around.
