Joe Nieuwendykwill be the new GM for the Stars... Im glad to see this. The idea of Co-General Managers Brett Hull and Les Jackson just did not work.. I feel the nail in the coffin for them was really pushing for Sean Avery.. That blew up in there face.. Many around here blame the signing of Avery one of the main reasons for the Stars not making the playoffs.. Thats BS.. They need to take a look and how many key players were out due to injury late in the season...

As I understand it, it was Hull who wanted Avery. Regardless... this is a good move. That's alot of hockey experience between those guys, and one boss is best.
