Strawberry Trifle

This is a really easy dessert and it's easy to make for a crowd.

I make one small angel food cake
1 small pkg of french vanilla pudding
1 small carton of cool whip
1 large container of sweetened strawberries

It's easy to double or triple and make in foil pans for a crowd.

I cube the angel food cake and place 1/2 in the bottom of a glass bowl.
Top with 1/2 of the strawberries...with juice..
Then 1/2 of the prepared French vanilla pudding,
Top with 1/2 of the cool whip and repeat

Top with cool whip and chill.
I make this a couple hours before serving.

Yumm. My strawberries are just now starting to turn, but they are a bit on the small size this year. I hope that they will make up for it in sweetness. Looks great.

So it has a name..lol my girls make it but with nilla wafers..But with a lot more whipped cream.lol..I always called it the gut buster..lol looks great.
