For a rib burn? Usually a one day deal... Show up at 8 turn in by 1-2, pack up and leave after judging. Overnight is a full comp to me.

Yeah well..it is close enough for me to go home Sat nite... but as I have no camper or anything to spend the night, the "good time" thing will cost me a hotel room. Or sleep in the van I guess.

I looked at this a month ago when I first heard of it. If you click on the Application tab at the link, you will see why I didn't even bother to ask if anyone wanted to go with me.

Looks like the Chamber of Commerce is looking to get rich on its vendors and participants of this festival. $10 for a 20 lb bag of ice! $50 late fee if you haven't paid your entry by 6 weeks previous. and then there is the $65 for a days worth of electricity.

Be interesting to see how many teams they get to attend.
