  • Spicy Pecans

Really been a HoHum type day around here.. Digging through some old recipes of mine and looking for something to snack on during the Cowboy game tonight... I ran across this recipe..

Didn't have the energy to fire up the Longhorn for two cups of nutz...

2 Cups Pecans or your favorite nutz...
    2 TBS Butter Melted
    1 TBS Wishy Sauce
1/4 Tsp Pepper Powder (Cayenne, Chipotle, Smitty's,)
    1/4 Tsp Salt
    1/4 Tsp Garlic Powder
    1 Tsp Chili Powder

Get your dry ingredients mixed together... I used some habanero powder that Larry L20A sent me some time back... Momma this stuff be hot!!!

Melt butter and mix in the wishy sauce..

Mix in the rest of the players....

Mix in the nutz and coat well.. Toss on a baking sheet and pop in the 275-300° oven for about 30 minutes.. Turning every 5 minutes.. Don't let the spices burn...

Pull and let cool, then place them in a air tight container of just pig out with them and a few cold brews.. They be warm on the taste buds..

    Ken
