Everyone raise your glass, a “Toast” to the homebuilt smoker (Stick burner). Here I pay homage and honor to the people who build them, the people who suffer through nights of the almost impossible build, days of turmoil and complete anguish when things go wrong (Me included)... a “Toast” to the dreamers, the mad scientists, that wacky neighbor (if you live in the burbs) who yells at you when you stink up the neighborhood with that “oh so sweet smelling smoke”. Their not all pretty, some just fall off the mark, but they all have one thing in common, the quest for the all mighty “Thin Blue Smoke”. Cudos to you all who dare to push the envelope, who beg, steal and borrow to find material to finish your masterpiece of bent metal and steel weld. One more “Toast” . To Smoked-Meat.com for having us. I’ve been here for a short time, but it feels like family. Your kind words and help so far is second to none. So In honor of the homebuilder, the dreamers, the people who say what the hell, 16 hour cook (walk in the park, bring it on), people who snicker at the all night’er, the dedicated smoker and even the wannabe... Cudos to you all...You make this site what it is “Amazing”...
