  • Moinkers

    Happy Saturday to all...
I have never done moinkers before so here we go...

Beef & pork mixed with some pecorino romano cheese, cotija cheese, basil, oregano, cbp, garlic salt, egg & bread crumbs....

10 are stuffed with buffalo mozzeralla, 10 are stuffed with Ivernia (Hard piquant flavored Irish cheese - kinda like a parm) and 12 are stuffed with sharp cheddar and pickled slided japs

Into Staind with the endless shoulder.... smokin with olive....

I think I let em go a tad bit to long, but they are still pretty yummy.
The buffalo mozzeralla gets a little lost because the flavor is so subtle, the Irish cheese is really good and the jap/cheddar is really yummy. These were wrapped with maple bacon and brushed with Ryan's apple bbq sauce.

                Sorry for the blurry photo...

                Thanks for checking my q-vue!

                          They look great!

When did MOINK balls become Moinkers and technically they cant be MOINK balls unless you use frozen meatballs.

I did see that but being blonde I was confused at this point, A) I have never bought frozen meatballs, B) I thought that moink balls meant that they were beef (moo) and pork (oink) are the frozen meatballs in the store a mix of beef and pork? The frozen ones do you thaw first? But there are pix you can't get me on that one!
