  • Crabby Taters - Loaded with Dungeness Crab and Bacon.

Hello all! I was talking to Rich last week and was telling him about this recipe I have use for about 20 years or longer. I have done allot of crabbing in the local Puget Sound waters and have always had an abundence of Dungeness crab. So I tried many different ways to use it. This is one of my favorites! I ate a bunch of it and man I hope my gout doesn't flare up.
It was worth it. Here you go. Thanks for viewing! Give this a try, I think you will like it.

    Ingredients

    3/4 lbs Dungeness Crab Meat
    5 Slices Thick Cut Bacon
    10 Red Potatoes
    6 Green Onion - Sliced
    1/2 Green Pepper Diced
5 Cloves Fresh Garlic - Chopped
    1/4 Stick Butter
    Creole Seasoning to Taste
    Coarse Ground Pepper to Taste

Damn that looks good! Dungeness, my favourite type of crab (and another thing I can't get in Australia ).

I want that dish you are serving on. The one that looks like a penis handle. Not much on crabbage, but it sure looks good. Not sure why, but it makes me queezy every time I have tried to eat it.

I get lump blue crab, 16oz for $14 from RD.
Lotsa of local blue crabbin....no local processing here (that I can find)!
