In the years I have been making salsa. most offten I just make it fresh with garden veggies. then insert chip eat repeat. to fridge then out of fridge and insert chip and eat.
But, I have found that after making the salsa. I put it on the stove top and simmer it (can be done on smoker also for smoke flavor unless you smoked your chili already) for 45 minutes. and insert chip while warm and repeat.lol.
It makes a whole new tasting salsa. that is also good. and when I fridge it, I warm it before inserting chip.
has anyone else done this?
if not make a small batch and see what you think..it is great on tacos, burritos and dead smoked lizards. even pulled pork..
