Wanted brisket for my meal tomorrow but the forcast was for rain all day. And you know what ? They had it right...except for one thing...When the brisket went on about 3:30 the clouds broke and the sun is shining...The radar looks as if I got a few hours break till the next round moves in. Got dry wood and a covered patio so unless the wind gets ugly (again) it should be a great smoke.

Supposed to have another tornado on the ground now in Marion County. Not sure where your at Smoke Freak, but I hope you ain't down range. A brisket is a terrible thing to waste.Comment

It was supposed to rain here this afternoon so I hurried and smoked the turkey, beans and abts. Here it is almost 8:00 PM and had 4 or 5 drops.
