    Hello everyone

    yesterday i did 2 pork butt roasts for pulled pork they were about 7 pounds each i rubbed each butt with mustard and sprinkled on some of down yonder pork butt rub on and placed into the fridge for the night i slept in and did not get the butts into the smoker until after 7:00 am i placed into the smoker at 250 and used plum for smoke they took a long 14 hours to get done they turned out great







    Happyness is a full smoker

                Those butts came out perfect! nice bark, nice ring.. how is the plum? I would love to try that, I have not seen that wood around here ever! YUM!

                    plum is really good wood for smoking i think i like it the best so far it is sweet kind of like cherry i get this wood locale there are trees around that people cut and prune each year and i usually swap it for whatever most of the time the people just want to give it to me but i always give back something smoked
