  • A little banana macadamia nut bread...

Our daughter said she had it in Hawaii and asked me to make some...
so my little helper came over to assist me in making some...
    It was very tasty....

Sounds awesome. I think the smile on the little cuties face in the last picture says it all.

            Here ya go Bro...

            2 cups all purpose flour
            1 tsp salt
            2 tsp baking soda
            1 cup butter or margarine
            2 cups white sugar
            2 cups overripe mashed bananas
            4 beaten eggs
            1 cup chopped nuts

            makes two 9 X 5 Loaves

            preheat the oven to 350*

mix up the flour, salt and baking soda in a large bowl.
in a separate bowl blend the butter, and sugar until smooth. Stir in the bananas, eggs and nuts until well blended. Add this mix to the dry mix until blended, pour in equal amounts into the 2 oiled and floured pans and bake for 60 - 70 minutes or until a butter knife comes out clean in the center of the loaf. Cool on a rack for 10 minutes before serving. I serve them warm with butter. they are also good cold.

Yeah those look really good. We will be trying those this weekend.
