Man, we had a couple of those over the years when I was young. One with the warming oven and one without. Both had rotisseries and I loved the chickens that came off of them. Fond memories. Could maybe cut a 55 gallon drum in half, then cut one side out of that to turn upside down on a Weber for something similar. Could cut slots for a rotisserie in it too.

Yep, remember Dad hosing down a pile of briqs with lighter fluid(the good shit they made back then), standing back 15ft, and tossing a lit match at it. About halfway to the grill, it would light with a "whump" and a fire ball. IIRC, those things only had about a 2 year life before they would rust through......

Lol. Oh yeah. Remember those days. Almost as dangerous as white gas. Coleman stove fuel.

Dad never cared for that "whump", so he'd light the grill and/or bonfire with #1 fuel oil. Much like kerosene. Just as good for you, I'm sure.

We had a grill similar to those. Made by Montgomery Wards. Their traditional puke brown/gold. Had a crank that would raise and lower the grate. Still burnt everything put on it. The bottom served as a lid for a 55 gallon drum used for recyclables up until about 5 or 6 years ago. Hehe.
