    Looking like some butts this weekend here on the 26'r, though I hate to get it dirty, it's so pretty .... Or might go brisket for some burnt ends ..... Weather here has been spectacular, sunny & 80* just aboot every for a while now & loving it!

    What y'all got cookin, smoking, canning, etc.

    I am. It was a 100 degrees today in the San Antonio area. And tomorrow the same.

    Looks like rib will be on the menu.

              Not sure my do some experimenting. MIL took the baby today ans has him till Sunday. Wife leaves Friday for a volleyball camp and returns Saturday night. So I'm a FREE man I know what I wanna do I'm thinking maybe a fattie.

                Rolling east to Detroit and Toledo Sat -Sun for a food project.

                Wont be doing any cooking but alot of smoking.

                    Gonna be doing my first rack of pork ribs in my frig smoker on Sunday. The jerky turned out great last weekend and now drooling for ribs. Can't wait!! Enjoy the weekend everyone!

                          Not sure what's smoking / grilling this weekend, but I'm hoping to get enough wild blackberries off the vines to do something with...either a cobbler or dumplings!

                              I'm in bread baking mode. First up is a yummy loaf of brioche.



                              I just did my last "turn" on a batch of double chocolate croissants. I'll fill them with more chocolate and bake off in the a.m.

                              Here's the dough heading to the fridge.



                              Here is a bacon jam and grilled cheese sammy on brioche.
