My buddies neighbor had their pecan trimmed down (it was huge!) And the crew cutting it down didn't have any way of hauling it off, so his neighbor offers to have them move it all to his backyard in hopes of selling it as firewood. Well Friday I finally got my hands on a chainsaw, and we walked over to the guys house and I asked if he was looking to get rid of any of it, and he said yea I'll sell you a load, and I said well what would you take for all of it?, he thought for a second and said....$40 bucks, I said HOW MUCH?.....$40 bucks..so I said SOLD! So that's what I ended up with after 4 hours of work, and there's still a good 2 truck loads left that I'm gonna go back and get this coming up weekend. The wood is still green, only been down for about month so it'll be awhile before I can cook. Thanks!
