My first breakfast on the River. Hashbrowns, sausage eggs and cheese. It was delicious. Sorry I didn't get any photos of the finished product, I should of it looked nice, but we were busy wolfing it down.

A DO and a river, what more do you need? I had hoped to find myself on a river somewhere in Michigan at one point this summer but didn't make it. Oh well, maybe next year!

Is this private property or a public campground? Been looking at a couple state forest campgrounds to try near Newaygo.

Private, we rented it. 4 hr.tube trip from Thornapple Rd. We landed right at the cabin. 16 of us stayed there. The cabin slept 10, 4 stayed in a camper and my wife and I tented it. Nice spot, a couple trout were caught right in front of the cabin by a couple of the girls.

Yeah man ! I remember when I was a young one around 8 years old when we still lived in Michigan. We would go camping all the time, and I remember having pan fried Bluegill and pancakes for breakfast. It was so good !
