  • Buckboard bacon

    Just finished up some buckboard bacon. Wanted to post some pics.
    Cure kit and a pork butt.


    Rubbed in the cure.


    After 5 days


    After 10 days, soaked, then dried.

    Smoked at 150 for 45 minutes then at 200 until an internal temp of 140 using apple wood


    Sliced up


    Frying some up for blts.


    Some sammiches
