if it were me, i'd use ziplock bags that fit as closely as possible, then press out as much air as possible before sealing, then put them in the refrigerator.
it will be just fine ~ it's cheese, not liver ~Fundamentals matter.

If I didn't have a Vac Sealer, I'd put it in ZipLocks, and squeeze the air out, and into the fridge. If I wanted to keep it more than 2 years, I'd look into the waxing.

i'm thinking also that, when giving it as a gift, it has a much nicer presentation, too ~Fundamentals matter.

Freezing cheese doesn't work well. I've tried on a number of occasions. Wouldn't recommend it.S-M Misfit #16

I think you get a tighter fit with Saran Wrap..... Or there is the method of inserting a coffee stirring straw into a zip lock and sucking the air oot and sealing. Personally, i would go SR and then suck the air oot of a zip lock. Just me. Check CL for a cheap used vac sealer? they are indispensable for the stuff most of us dosigpic
