  • Smoked Lamb Chops

    Smoked my first lamb tonight. 2" thick lamb chops.

    Used a marinade that I found in a post here from supervman and slightly modified it with a couple of additions. Put in a vacuum container for 2 hours then smoked on the Yoder at 230 until internal was about 130. Took off and reversed seared on the gas grill for about a minute and a half.

    Best lamb ever! I am hooked. My wife was skeptical but now she thinks we should eat more lamb. Even heard the phrase "that was as good as or better than beef tenderloin".
