  • Smoked Olive Tapenade and other stuff

I fired up my smokehouse last weekend and cool smoked a few items... I was able to keep the smokehouse at 110 and below. which worked out fine for these items.

I used a bit of pecan and apple for the smoke...

    I smoked some olives...

Pecans, peanuts, coarse sea salt, clover honey...

A kosher salt/cracked pepper/onion/garlic mix, some turbinado sugar, and a pan of wasabi peas.

    The finished goods....

    And the smoked olive tapenade....

Some olive oil, kosher salt, cracked black pepper, garlic, minced smoked olives, and capers....

    Sittin' on a saltine.

Thanks for checking out my smoke!

Is there a way to give points without even opening the thread???? :)

Girl knows how to lay it down!

      Nice chow GIRL!

Got me some new pits goin on. Covered with Pine Tree Branches.
Weather has been weird so the hunting has been rather slow.
Guess I need to find some new areas for pits.
Kinda like fishing. Not much action. Pick up, move on and lay some new bait! :)

        Thank you Mike and V!
Mike I'm fine, I appreciate the warm welcome, it's good to see ya.
V....I figured you would have caught a lot of girls with those pits by now! Are you shooting for a trifecta?

        Thanks to both of you.

While I suppose there 'is' more than one trifecta out there - my bet is that they're pretty rare.

I've "checked out plenty of land" so to speak and I've only run across one trifecta. :)

dude its all about structure and patterns!!! find the right structure to match the pattern they are at during the now point and time and sucess is yours!!!

also dont necessarily go after the "fish" but locate the necessaties of them and they will not be far away... i am sure you can use this info to better place your pits, if not just use it for fishing lol!!!

oh yeah the food!!! again she does it with the condiments this time!!! nice spread on them, i really curious about the honey, honey!!!
