On our way home from fishing in the UP Fri. we swung into a little bar and grill in Wolverine called the Thirsty Sturgeon. They made a Bloody Mary with vodka that had been infused with bacon, tomatoe, cilantro, onion and a few other veggies. She used Zing Zang xtra dill sauce rimmed the glass with lemon pepper and put one of their homemade pickles in it. I have had many Bloody Marys with all this stuff xcept the vodka, and I'd say this was by far the best one I've had. Gonna be trying this at home soon. She said to be sure to cook the bacon crispy or it gets greasy.

A couple years ago this came up.. I can describe a process that will allow a faster and more complete extraction.
