  • Little addition to the arsenal

Picked up this 2 burner commercial gas cooktop. Needs a LP conversion, but it's gonna be a nice addition to the Lang on contract cooks, comp potlucks, etc. Still got the tape wrap on the stainless... Big assed burners 3/4" gas/air mix piping to them... porcelain HD grate... nice unit.

I can definitely see where that would come in handy.
Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.

Orface kit and regulator probably set you back about $50, unless you can work out a deal with a propane guy....
Once you go Weber....you never call customer service....

Might be able to do that... but with 2 hundie in another fitty won't make me cry. Take a bit of a BTU hit I suppose...it's 36K as advertised. Still should not have too much problem with a fair sized stock pot I'd think.

Gonna smut up your pan with soot....

I been out of the industry just long enough to start to lose info. I can't remember if you need smaller orifices for lp. One to the other you can just drill out, and add a new diaphragm to the regulator.

Oh... I'll toss 50 more at it. There's enough soot on my stuff already

IC is correct you won't like the orange flame...LP is a smaller orifice with higher pressure .... So you need to know the orifice size and You MIGHT be able to get to it and drill or hopefully change it out for the right size and replace the regulator ...The company may have a conversion kit you could buy for it

Sorry Rich posted while you were
