              Thanks for all the recipes! I think I'll have to try the RV Omelets Ziploc By Oklahomajewel at home just to see how they turn out. Never heard of cooking an omelet in a Ziploc.

              I am also new to DOs. I got my first one just a couple of weeks ago. It came out of an old farm house in the Daniel Boone National Forest about an hour and a half outside of Lexington. It needs some MAJOR clean up though. Besides soaking in vinegar or coke, using a wire wheel brush, and electrolysis, does anyone have any other suggestions on removing the rust? It's pretty thick....

                Fortunately I have a bead blaster at the hangar. I use it when I get a yard sale deal. Otherwise elbow grease & re-season.

                  I have cooked omelets in a bag a few times. Saw it on the food network once...Paula Deen I think. My advice-don't use the cheapo bags. I have had them melt and split open in the water. I have used the good bags and been just fine.
