  • Magic Dusted Cheese Crackers

Started with a 7 oz. box of no name cheese crackers from the dollar store. Melted about 1/4 stick of butter. Drizzled the butter over the crackers and tossed until coated. Didn't measure the magic dust, just made sure they were evenly coated.

I was making some more ahumado bandoleros, so I figured it was a good time to do these. The GOSM was about 325 degrees with one chunk of hickory. Just a little smoke. Turned out real good should have made 2 boxes.

I knew someone did something similar recently. I don't usually buy the cheapo cheezits, but figured they'd work for an experiment. Turned out better than I thought. They won't last out the day. It made about a ziplock bag and after I bring them to work......well.....I'll have to make more. Lol.

A bowl of those and a couple beers while watching a game sounds perfect.
