  • Salmon in the stick burner

    here is my first salmon in Wichita Yoder thanks for the info richtee.

    I had to run it hotter than I thought to get it to 150 internal temp with my probe about middle of smoker had it running 150 to 180 for 3 hours and it would not come past 126 internal then I bumped it to 200 and it took 2 hours to reach 153. but it taste awesome.

    WooHoo! Yeah... fish is better done in a wattburner to tell the truth..but I done my share in the Lang. Just takes attention. Like most BBQ in real cookers do

            thanks all, I have never had a wattburner but to tell the truth I think that the playing in the fire with the stick burner is a lot of fun

                My salmon in the Lang gave me the inspiration to try the jerky today. Well..we'll see...
