  • New England Clam Bake..

Haven't done this in a while.

Lit a full chimney of Kingsford and dumped it into the Weber Baskets.

1.5lbs or Red potato's covered in EVOO wrapped tightly in HD foil.
    Cooked that for 20 minutes.
Flipped that over and added corn. This went for another 15 minutes. Running @400 degrees

Took them off and placed them in a 200 oven to keep warm.
Added more charcoal and let that burn off a little. Still want to keep the grill HOT for the next phase.

4 doz littleneck clams in a disposable tin.

    Added this.

Seasoned up the lobster and Jumbos shrimps with a little EVOO and S&P.
Shrimps were deveined with shell left on.

Clams went on direct heat, lobster indirect. Cooked that for 7 minutes.
Then added the shrimps for 3-5 minutes.

    Clams are done.

Plated. Cooked up a few links of homemade Chorizo too.

    Let's eat!!

This was really tasty and simple to make.
    Thanks for looking!

I'll tell ya Bear, if I had a Paella pan, I would have made the same. His cook was fantastic.

So I settled for this instead.

Excellent job ! Nothing better than fresh seafood on the grill with beer !

Just wondering what kind of lobster you used, they look like Florida lobster tails but I couldn't tell from the pics. I like how you did the veggies first, most clam bakes I've been to try to do them all at once, and a lot of the seafood is either over cooked, or the veggies aren't cooked.
