View Full Version : Jumbo Fattie
black_dog 08-01-2009, 06:49 PM Here's some pics of a fattie, I started with 1 lb Jimmie dean sausage and 1/2 lb of my homemade cabbage sausage added together. Then I took 3 jumbo eggs mixed with a little milk then added shredded Mexican blend cheese, also added bread crumbs to make mixture a paste. Spread that on meat then added 2 med potatoes diced and a handful of french onions. Added sliced green pepper, and crumbled tortilla chips. Then rolled it up, had a little tearing so took other half pound of cabbage sausage and cut up for patches also cut some to seal ends up better. It took two pounds of bacon to cover and 3 lengths of saran wrap to cover for rolling. After I finished I put on kitchen scale and it hit the 5 1/2 lb mark. It really is a pig. LOL
