  • Halibut,shrimp & mackerel Sushi

    Ty-Ku sake, shrimp balls w/sesame seeds,halibut sashimi & marinated mackerel.
    Pressed sushi with mackerel & shrimp. Served w/ Ponzu sauce,pickled ginger & real wasabi.

      They fly it into Bozeman daily. I buy it at the sushi fish market.

                      I was thinking that same thing, I've searched high and low and can't find it around here. Plus I hear it's quite expensive, I guess that might be a good thing I can't find it.

                        As you may or may not know, many supermarkets are now serving sushi. Some of the supermarkets make it fresh over the counter. Safe-Way & Albertsons are two. Although not all stores do this. I purchase wasabi in the Albertson's store in Belgrade,MT. At $3.49 per tube. It is made from real wasabi grown in the highlands of Japan. Plus, it does not contain any horseradish. If you want to buy the "root", that's another story! It will cost you about $70.00 for a 1/2 lb.
