    So I couldn't resist the $150 Anova either

    Did short ribs 54hrs @135 seasoned with big poppas double secret steak
    Then blasted them for 1min on the big green egg with vortex at 800 degrees

    Did the lobster tails @ 175 for an 1 hr wife hated the texture and the other one fell apart oh we'll back to the drawing board

    Carrots @195 for 16 min. Still some crunch tastes great

    54 hours? Takes that long? Maybe a typo there? Looks good! I did some NY strips the other day in about 7 hours. Hmm..then again not much to break down in a strip...

        That is some serious planning ahead... very nice! too bad the lobsta did not come out like ya like.. happens sometimes though....

          Yea I wanted to go for the full 72 hrs but wife starting a new diet so it was her last meal
