Good option! I generally like Stout, but picked up a 4 pack of Wrecking Ball Stout last Friday @ $9.99 for 4 at something like 9.5% alc. and it was not very good IMO. Made in Spokane I think..... I woulda thought Oregon

I have a barrel aged Russian Imperial Stout that's been carbonating in the bottles since 10/4. I was going to wait until Thanksgiving to try one. Had I known, I would have chilled one to see if it was ready (after spending 150 days in the barrel and at 9.6%ABV, I figured it should get extra time to carbonate).

I was thinking of opening one of these, but at 14.9%, 11.2% and 18% ABV, these aren't weekday stouts.


The only other stout I have on hand is Coronado Blue Ridge Coffee stout, but it's too late on a school night to open a bomber.

I have a Kölsch on tap which is basically a fizzy yellow beer with an added treat: flavor! LOL
