  • One man's Trash is Another man's Treasure

me and the boss at work were talking about making sausage and he said he had this grinder that he hasn't used like in 10-12 years and was going to throw away and could not remember if he did or not....he said if he didn't he would just give it to me...welll i came in this morning and this was sitting on my desk...

now i know this ain't a good model and i probably will burn it up but it was FREE so i will try it out but will only do really small batches...now it also has a stuffer tube dont know how good that works but i will give a try...so hopefully maybe in the next week or so i will give a shot and post my results...stay tuned

Free is free. If you don't try and stuff too much meat through it at once, it will work. And if it feels like it's getting too warm, let it cool down.

Way to go. Give it a shot. Got nothing to lose. Hope it works out for ya, homemade sausage is the best.

That's the same one my boss let me use before I bought mine. It worked great. Just take your time pushing the meat through it.

                  Nice score there Doc.
Last week while placing concrete, I scored an unused Weber 22.5 inch grill because the home owner won a Weber One-Touch in a raffle. I was going to use it on my UDS, but I just can't cut up a new one. So the quest for a crappy one continues.
