    Ain't sure where ta put this, not a dessert an ain't a side, so put it here, move it ifin ya wanna ken.

    Grandma said they made alotta this ifin times was hard.

    Corncob Jelly

    12 red concobs
    5 C water

    Boil cobs 20 minutes. Strain through a cloth.

    3 C liquid
    1 box Sure-jell

    Measure, addin nough water fer the 3 cups. Add in the sure-jell an bring ta a full rollin boil, boil fer 3 minutes.

    3 C sugar

    Add the sugar inta the liquid an bring ta a rolin boil again fer 3 minutes. Pour inta 3 er 4 small jelly glasses. Ifin ya wan'ts it ta be more red ya can add a drop er two a food colorin in it.

      Okay.....thought them cob's were fer the outhouse? Red first then a white one ta see if ya needed another red.

        Near as I can remember sorta a sweet taste with a hint a corn flavor, just a wee shaver when grandma passed. Gonna find some more cob an give it a try!

          Bet if ya left a cob in there it would sorta look like that good honey with the honey comb still in the jar.

            sounds like alot of sugar tip-I would scale down for my taste-I looking for Anyway to save on the food bill.
