  • Some More Jerky

Doing some jerky again today. Prep is pretty much the same as my last several jerky threads -- top round, Mad Hunky Jerky Seasoning, you get the idea.

Anyway, here's the SnP all loaded up. Couldn't quite fit it all on. May have to do another batch later. I really need to build that jerky smoker.

Put some heavy pepper on it because, well, that's the way I like it.

Added a few shakes of Mad Hunky Hot Whang some end pieces for a test. My son liked the idea of that.

Rockin' some cherry smoke this time around.

Beautiful day here in sunny, drought stricken California. In the mid 50s now but supposed to get to 87° today.

    More later.

Very nice and an excellent use of space with the double rack.

As long as you are here by Tuesday evening, you should be good.

Never seems to last past that.

            All done.

Next time I'll have to sprinkle the Hot Whang on the whole batch. I was a little timid so my test sample was pretty small. It does give it a nice touch though.

            Thanks for lookin'.
