  • Mushroom Ravioli with a Smoked Chicken Cream Sauce

Found a pack of smoked chicken packed away in the freezer an had a pack of mushroom ravioli so why not...

Got the sauce going, diced smoked chicken, sliced shrooms, onions, garlic, red pepper.

Added the cream sauce let sit for 30 minutes.

Cooked up the Mushroom Ravioli. Added the ravioli to the sauce...

Plated up with some fresh basil pesto. Was quite tasty!!

Hope you are enjoying the weekend!!

I generally cut this in half... I found this a while back and it is pretty good, not going to lie though I do use a jarred sauce too... sometimes life happens and you just want to dump and go...

I think this is from allrecipies... I put in a word doc a while back...

                1/2 cup butter

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

                2 teaspoons garlic powder

                2 cups cream/half and half

                6 ounces grated Parmesan cheese

                1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes, then add garlic and cheese and whisk quickly, heating through

I could definitely go for some of that. Love the pesto addition as well. Great post Sir.

That pesto is from Costco... it is really really good! the best store bought stuff I have ever had, almost like my home made stuff!! 8 buck for a big jar and it could be frozen.
