  • Chicken don't get easier :).

Heading off to watch the rest of the Sox game with a buddy, but wanted to smoke a few birds for sandwich meat during the week.

    Couple of 7lb birds.

Quick rub of evoo, some garlic salt and italian seasongs.

And on the smoker at 300°, using some fine Texas pecan (thanks Ken).

Loving the gravity feed chute. These babies will smoke themselves while I'm gone, See you in a few hours

              Thanks guys!

Got a call a few hours later telling me the alarm was going off. Went home and found these all cooked and waiting, internal temp at 168°. Smoker holding 300° on the nose and TBS flowing .

They took just under 3hrs. Nice and juicy.

              Dinner.

Lunch meat, better than any deli stuff .

              Thanks for looking :).
