I was thinking of buying a twin door brinkman vertical and setting it on my Lang firebox for poultry and as a warmer. I wonder how long before I would burn this sucker out if it sets on my firebox and has a fire of its own from time to time. Any thoughts? LOL

Not saying the Brinkmann would not work, but why waste the coin if you feel its going to burn out. Then your back at the store buying a new one.
I was looking at adding one to my Longhorn last year.. the box was going to be 2'x2'x3' tall.. I was going to add the rack guides and build the racks.. My sheet metal shop wanted almost 400 bones just for the box. Not saying yours will be this much. Prices in the Dallas area tend to be a bit high.Ken
