  • Had to try it the hard way....

...but it worked. I recently saw Fishawns thread doing TH's chicken and sun-dried tomato sausage. I have been meaning to do this right after I buy a grinder and a stuffer. Well I still dont have either.

Last night I borrowed the bro's grinder, however, no stuffer or attachments for the grinder. I do have a jerky shooter however and decided why not. Pain in the a$$ yes but adapt and overcome I say!

Anyways not to bore anyone with alot of details, I ground the chicken thighs (with the skin) and added all other ingredients per Ken's recipe. Followed it to the "T". This morning I tackled stuffing the sausage. A lot of extra effort with the shooter and somewhat time consuming but I wanted to make sure I was gonna be in to the whole sausage making thing (as if I wouldnt be, right?)

So thanks for listening. And Thanks TH for the awesome recipe. I fried up a sample patty for breakfast. The links are now drying in the fridge and will be lunch this afternoon when the bro comes over. Heres a pic of my first links. I will try to get a shot of one sliced later. Have a great day

By the way TH, ignore last nights PM

I ran out of beer around 6pm central time and didnt want to go to the store.. I seen a new bottle of Bacardi Lim'on on the shelf.. So I popped it open while I was making some venison hot links.. And the rest (or I) was history...

Looking forward on seeing the links cooked..
