  • How about some SV Prime Steaks...

So picked up some prime steaks for next to nutten from my local store... 5.99 a pound... steal I say.. So here they are rubbed with pickapeppa sauce..

And a Ribeye.. just select here.. but still 5.99 a pound.. Ill take it!

Rubbed with garlic powder, season salt and a pad of my ranchman's butter and into a bag...

Fired up the S. Vide at 130* let run for 15 to make sure all is well

Dunked the bags got air out and let them get happy for about 3 hours.

    Out of the bag

Fired up the copper top finally with the vortex screaming!!

Dang that grill thing makes some great marks!!

    Ribeyes turn

    vortex doing its thing!

Onto the plate with my new sun dried tomato version of my ranchman's butter

Lets cut into that bad boy!!

The strip steaks were great... kids went to town on them. sorry no pics but there were just as pretty as the ribeye..

Dang that was some goooood grub. Love the combo of the Sous Vide and a Vortex!! Wife unit loves the combo of cooking machines too!!

Oh yeah the new copper top is a fine machine as well!! Clearly need to season it more!! Thanks for looking!!

Be careful those tricky mates seem to trick us all the time and we dont even realize it until we are in trouble...

                          Absolutely.

Here is a recent piece of flap meat done SV at 135 for 4-5 hrs and finished briefly on the grill. The best part, I was at work while it cooked SV. Got the potatoes in the oven and just before pulling them, finished the meat on the grill

Great looking steaks Brian! And pics also

Next thyme I suggest a rotisserie meatloaf on that Copper, that will build up some seasoning on it
