    Leftovers. With love from my wife.

    So, had kind of a shitty day. Could care less about this evening. Might as well just tell the kids I love them and then get drunk.

    Came home to a small savory treat that brought me back to reality and reminded me of I should be. My wife made some classic chicken pot pies. Nothing special. Lots of leftovers and some store bought pastry left over from Thanksgiving. Despite all I have in the freezer, may be the best meal in a long time. Simplicity and humility are sometimes a bitch but well worth it in the long run.

            Nice looking pot pie and a great way to come home! I hear you on the corn...I learned a long time ago that my old man does not like corn in anything but on the cob.
