  • chicken fajitas , add veggies to marinade?

First try at fajitas . Got chicken breasts sliced and in a short marinade ( 3 hour tops)
Have sweet onions , yellow and red peppers to slice up to cook also.
Snow is looking a tad heavy right now to do on the webber , probably cook inside in a skillet or two if need be.
So , add the veggies to the marinade
    OR
Slice up veggies , keep separate and then fry up together with the chicken
    OR
Fry (saute ) each in their own pans , butter for veggies
    OR
keep peppers and onions raw and serve with the chicken

All set , the better half wanted the vegies in the marinade and all cooked together.

Lot of ways you could go here, depends on preference. Perhaps try a couple of different ways and see what you and yours like the best.
Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.

I like to do mine separate as the onion and peppers take longer to get them the way I want them... so I cook my veggies and then move them indirect the fire up the meat... good luck!

Worked out good , I did mine wrapped in a warm flour tortilla with shredded cheese and some rotel. She , just on a plate. Tough to time the chicken just right ( her batch was just a tad overdone ) but came out good. 2nd half of the mix for dinner tonite
