    Rant!

    I bought the Sous Vide Supreme bath a couple of years ago, always served me well... most of the time. Then it stopped working. I called customer service, they were on it. Got it shipped oot to them and sent back to me in a very short thyme. Fixed. Or so I thought... Last night, I fired it up, put two beef eye roasts in it, it got to temp, and just shut down! Thank GOD I was standing there when it did it! DAMMITT!! And thank God for me Anova... she saved the day!

    So, IMHO, if you're looking for a solid piece of SV equipment, don't go to the SV Supreme. Anova circulators rock. Dead nuts on temp wise, rock solid construction, easy to clean, very affordable, and very portable.

      sux...agree with the Anova...gotten where it is a bad booger tool for the labor saving...Louie has gotten to where she is using it more..

          Not sure I ever will own one, but thanks for the info. Like you said, at least you were standing there when the thing quit working and you didn't ruin your food.

              Get FREAKY with it...

              Nice save, Phil. Should have thrown them roasts in the microwave rotisserie like a normal person...

                Tanya and I purchased our Sous Vide Supreme Feb. 11, 2014 and also purchased a 3 year warranty through SAM's Club for it. To date we have had no problems but I am sure we don't use ours as much as Phil does... I sure hope we don't have problems. I assume you are contacting customer service again, be sure and let us know how that goes!

                    I should have taken a picture of the Anova clamped to the SV Supreme and sent it to the SV Supreme company. Anyway, for what I spent on that sumbitch, it should last a lifetime.
