  • Sriracha Shrimp Stir Fry thing

This is the same sauce I used on the wing recipe I posted about awhile ago. So, I figured I'd play around with the sauce and see what happens. First, I brined the shrimp for 4 hours. They are in there:

Then, I got some fix-ins together, cilantro, green onions, mushrooms and peanuts:

I put some lite rub on the shrimp and let it sit in the fridge. Probably a wasted step in all honesty. With the fix-ins, I sauteed them olive oil and soy sauce. Came out pretty good:

I got a little lazy and just fired up the gasser and did the shrimp indirect at 350 degrees. It works and doesn't take long as you know:

Finally got it all plated up and served. The Mrs. said it's a keeper and she's not a shrimp fan so I guess I did ok:

    Thanks for looking.

No problem guys, have at it. This was an experiment so it's not even officially a recipe

Just let me know how it goes.

I thought about the water chestnuts but didn't have any. Think it would be good though. Let me know what else you come up with.

hehehe, Funny you just posted this. The other day when I did your wings recipe with this sauce, my neighbor and I were talking about all the great flavors and different tastes ,and we both agreed that this would be great on grilled shrimp on a skewer, and low and behold, your on top of it before me!

Thanks, got a little lucky I guess.

The next thing I want to try it on is a spatch cock chicken as well as trying some other flavors like apricot, raspberry and peach.

That looks awesome, but skip the peanuts for me. I just can't get into peanuts or any nuts in my dishes for some reason.
