Been eyeballing one of these for some time. I know I got a Lang but sometimes something a bit smaller as a dedicated poultry cooker or well just cause would be nice. They retail slightly less than a WSM and the seller states much heavier construction than a weber kettle. They are powder coated not enameled. So What do ya all think. I like the swing out cooking surface and the ash pan seems to be a good idea also. ???

I think it's cute as hell! Don't see how ya swing out a chicken, but I guess the lid comes off. It IS a helluval lot smaller than the Lang...you sure you don't wanna do 2 yardbirds..or 2 butts?

I have a second rack mod on my WSM. ABOVE where the pan goes, yet down far enough to let me get 2 butts in. Just don't want you to go TOO small is all.

I'd look into building a drum before buying that POS.

              Drums are chicken cookin machines!

It is called a Vision VCS2. While I do believe UDS is a good smoker I don't have a pickup to transport it and easy transportation for me a must. Oh Bubba, My POS Lang isnt for sale either! LOL

                      Thanks for the info Shooter.

You could use a receiver hitch platform to haul a UDS around. Either on it's side or verticle.
