  • Hey Everybody

Well . . . going into too much detail would be redundant.

But for the 5 or 6 users whose name I didn't recognize, my name is Dave. I started smoking about a year ago on a Brinkmann Smoke N' Pit. Struggled with charoal for awhile then converted it to propane with an Afterburner. got a lot of help along the way . . . from many of the people here . . .(what, no "wink" emoticon?) and eventually built a drum.

I am now rediscovering the joys of charcoal cooking and have realized that a lot of my earlier problems with firing the charcoal SnP were because of me, not because of it. Who knew?!

Anyway, glad to be here and I would like to thank the "little birdie" who told me about this place!!

I see your trails around the net, good to see your path brought you through here too!

And, your right, charcoal is your friend, and its usually the human element that makes it difficult to use and cook with.
