My 60 lb. shipment from Hatch was cancelled, so I had to scramble for another source.

Albertson's @ 855 N. Wilcox in Montebello, Ca., will be getting a shipment of (300) 30 lb. sacks that will go on sale September 19th 8-2 pm, roasting is free. Price will be $28.99 per 30 lb. sack. They were 1.49 lb here about 3 weeks ago. Extra buck a pound if they roasted them for you in one of those big rotating drum roaster things.

I'm buying two 30 lb, sacks, one hot and one mild. I split the mild ones with my SIL, the rest I freeze. First use will be for Christmas tamales. Gloria and I usually go through 45 lbs. in 12 months. Plenty of good hot and spicy food all year long.
