Beautiful tomatoes.
Ours are finally finished. What was the left, the chickens went through like wild fire.

Mine did great last year. This year....not so good. Glad someone did ok.

Last year I got 64 tomatoes off of 2 plants. (Rabbits got one.) This year I'll be lucky to get 24 off 3 plants. Same plants, (Early girls) same garden, (Put up a fence) different weather. :noidea:

Man nice haul!! I wish I had the room for a nice garden like yours. I plant maybe 3-4 mater plants a year and get 40-60 tomato's. I could eat that in a week tho.

we've had plenty this year.
In fact we've grown some new long oval ones - figured I'd have a go at drying some today.
Alas not sun dried lol
but as I've never done it before be interesting to see how they take to the dehydrator (didn't have it last year)

Seriously nice looking crop you've got there, so what are your plans for processing them ? :-)

I have 56 plants, 6 cherry,2 orange, 2 early variety and 46 my main season "ultra Sonic" from Stokes seeds. I like this variety as it produces nice sized and shaped tomatoes and its resistant to many diseases.
A blemish free tomato makes processing a lot easier.

I will get that size picking every week, until frost stops me, well at least for the next few weeks, looks like I'll have some to sell. Last week was the first big pick. Then these this week.

Last week I did up 47 quarts of whole tomatoes, tomorrow I'll do about the same in tomato sauce. Then there is Salsa,That i did that last week. Chili sauce (really a Chutney) , spaghetti sauce, pizza sauce.

I reckon you got more time than I got...

All the stuff that we put up this year hardly left time for smoking..........
