These competitors had it rough Friday. Friday there was sustained winds of 40 knot or better most of the day. Saturady was good for them, no rain, winds of about 4 knots and temps ended in the low 60's around 3PM. So if they survived Friday they had it made weather wise. Which is more than I can say for years past. Could have been worse for them. I have seen the weather charts for other parts of the country this weekend. Of course we couldn't all move these comps to Slanted's neighborhood and had 80 degrees and palm tree's.

I believe ya. I think a good Q comp is better when the air is chilled. Especially if your busy working the pits. 80 degrees standing over a pit can wear ya down no matter how many beverages you bend your elbow and pour into your mouth. 55 or so is much better, unless it is raining. By the way Richtee, you guys sure looked like you enjpyed yourselves in the jacket weather for your comp.
