Two large pecan trees down due to extreme summer drought - need to get out of yard.
Great firewood - You cut it / you haul it / and it's yours to use! FREE.

You lucky dawg. I cut a bunch of white oak today. Will hit the felled hickory as soon as the oak is cleaned up.

Well the ad said the tree was down. It was dead but not down. At least 30 ft tall and huge diameter. Me and my 11 year old Nick went at it with my cheapo poulan chainsaw with good results. This pic is just a third of the tree that we cut down. I got two truckloads and will go back next weekend if I can. This will split into a bunch of wood!:banana_smiley:

A little deceitful but, it is a win-win situation. He gets the trees down and you get the wood. He probably got quotes to remove them and came up with a better plan. Should keep you in wood for a while though.
