  • Just invited from Capt Dan

I wanted to say thanks to Capt Dan for referring me over here. I must say this is a great looking site, with a few familiar names.

My name is Ryan, I am a career firefighter (Captain) with about 15 years on the job. I started smoking fish/meat with my father a long time ago, until his passing a little over a year ago. I started getting more serious on the meat side of things after I hired Capt Dan to BBQ for my annual CigarBQ party that I hold every year. I hope to gather more information from you great folks here, and if you have any questions regarding cigars, bourbon or scotch, just ask. Dan will tell ya about my humidor later, I am sure.

I have a few smokers, a GOSM stainless and a charbroiler pro SFB with a few mods, and a nice 6 burner stainless grill. I can't wait for this Michigan weather to warm up alittle, I want to burn some wood!
